Calling on all religious angels
Religious angels are messengers from God being superior to man in power and intelligence
The long nights waiting in the ICU unit were getting long. The doctor in charge had given us a prognosis that we did not want to hear and now our son had last rites given. Our son was not going to survive.
It had been just over one week since he had been found on the the floor unconscious . Something had to give.
I headed home to prepare for yet another night away from home. The rain was pouring down and so were my tears. “Please, God, give me a sign that my son would be alright” I pleaded with him. “Please, give me a sign”. There appeared in the sky over the hill where our home was located three shiny beams of light.
Could that be the sign I had asked for?
Keeping one eye on the road and the other on the beams of light I began to believe that this was a sign. I needed to. I wanted to. The clouds began drifting apart and within minutes formed a perfect angel, big and beautiful in the sky. She was a heavenly angel sent from God. She was the messenger I had waited for. One of the most beautiful sights I had ever seen.
And I knew she was there from God to say that “he would be alright.”
Now there are skeptics who do not believe. And then there are those that have had angel encounters themselves. And then there are the ones who say “I don’t care what you say, you can see anything you want to in the clouds.”
Well, I’ll say this.
I’ve been looking for another angel in the clouds since that day and I have never seen another one. But I know that there will come a day when I will see another one and it will be when I call out to God to please send me a sign.
